A LITTLE ABOUT US

           

Malay Publications is a start-up established in Kerala that primarily focuses on comics, children's books and other print media. We are working with a motto to bring the children back to reading and have taken #b2r as our campaign motto. If you are a bookworm who loves reading and wants to share good books with aspiring little book lovers, you are at the right place. At Malay Publications, we believe that imagination is the ultimate soul of creativity and love to listen to all the crazy stories you have in your hand.

 

Malay Features Syndicate, founded and established by Mohan Kumar C, is the strong pillar behind Malay Publications. They have made, published, and distributed children's comics and cartoons for almost 40 years. Kumar Mohan Chalam founded the Malay Features Syndicate in Kottayam in the 1990s. He formerly worked as a senior journalist for news organisations such as Samachar and Hindustan Samachar, as well as other North African news organisations. He has over 500 papers published in India and other countries through various journals. His stories are primarily intended to foster children's creativity and imagination, and he has written over 5000 stories.

 

Malay publications continue this legacy under Thomas Mathew's mentorship and Rose Maria's leadership. Thomas, an engineer by profession, has always been a comic book fanatic. He grew up reading Amar Chitra Katha, which has a special place in his heart. Uncle Pai is his greatest inspiration. Rose Maria earned a master's degree in mass communication from Pondicherry University. She is passionate about writing stories and believes imagination gives one the power of creation. We are doing everything we can to get children to read again, so we have made #backtoreading our motto.
